The short version
- Your MiningOps site runs on your server. Your rigs, wallets, pools, earnings and power readings never come to us.
- Once a day your site sends us its license key, domain, install ID and version, so it can get its updates.
- We count visits to this website without cookies, and we never sell your information or share it for advertising.
This summary helps you read what follows. The numbered sections are what apply.
What this covers
This policy explains how Adpath, Inc. ("we" or "us") handles information on miningops.io, in the license service, and when you buy a license. We're based in the United States. It doesn't cover the MiningOps site you install: that runs on your server, and you decide what it keeps.
What stays on your server
Your MiningOps site keeps everything about your farm on your own server: rigs, cards and ASICs, wallets, pools, earnings, power readings, alerts, and the accounts of the people you let in. None of it is sent to us.
Your site and your rigs also connect directly to services you choose, such as mining pools, coin price sources, GitHub for miner downloads, power monitors and messaging services. Those services see your connections under their own privacy policies, not ours.
What your site sends us
When it's installed, and once a day after that, your site sends us its license key, its domain, an install ID (a random number made at install time) and the MiningOps version it runs. Downloading an update sends the same.
We keep the domain, install ID and version, the time of the latest check, and the internet address it came from. Each check replaces the one before. When a site registers or takes over a license, the license's history records the domain and the address it came from. We use this to check the license, offer the right updates, stop a key running more sites than it covers, and help you when something goes wrong.
When you buy a license
We keep the name you buy under (yours or your company's), your email address, notes about your order such as how you paid, and your license's dates. We keep your key only in a scrambled one-way form, plus its last five characters so you can tell keys apart. We don't keep card numbers; payment goes through the method we agree with you.
We use these details to send your key and receipts, answer you, remind you when your updates are ending, and tell you about security fixes. We send marketing email only if you ask for it.
When you visit this website
Cloudflare carries all traffic to miningops.io, to deliver pages and block attacks. It handles your internet address and the details of each request under its own privacy policy, and it may set a security cookie when it checks for bots.
We count visits with Plausible Analytics, served from analytics.totaligent.com. It sets no cookies, doesn't follow you to other sites, and doesn't keep your internet address. It records the page, the site that sent you, your country, and your browser and device type, and we see them only as totals.
When a page fails, our server records the page's address and the error, not who asked for it.
Signing in and cookies
When you sign in to your license page with your key, we set one cookie that keeps you signed in. It's sent only to your license page, it ends when you sign out or after 12 hours, and it isn't used for anything else. This site sets no other cookies.
We count failed sign-ins and wrong keys by internet address, and use that only to stop anyone guessing keys.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share it only:
- with services that help us run MiningOps, such as Cloudflare for the network, our email provider, and whoever processes your payment, for that work only;
- when the law requires it, or to protect our customers, ourselves or others from fraud or harm;
- with a buyer or successor if MiningOps changes hands, who must keep to this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep license records and their history while your license exists, and afterwards for as long as we need them for taxes, accounting and disputes. We keep only the latest check from your site. Visit counts are kept only as totals. Copies of our database, kept so we can recover from a failure, are replaced over time.
Keeping it safe
Every page and the license service use HTTPS. Keys and passwords are stored only in scrambled one-way form, the sign-in cookie can't be read by scripts on the page, and repeated failed tries are blocked for a while. Releases are signed, and your site checks the signature before it installs one. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we keep about you, correct it, or delete it, by writing to support@miningops.io. We do this for everyone, wherever they live, unless the law requires us to keep something or we need it to settle a dispute. Deleting your license record means your key stops working. Some US states give their residents specific rights over their information; we honor them, and we won't treat you differently for using them.
We don't track you across other websites, so a browser's Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control setting has nothing to switch off here.
Children
MiningOps is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn that we have, we delete it.
Changes to this policy
We'll post changes here and update the date at the top. For a change that matters, we'll email license holders before it applies.
